WheelHub Pty Ltd ("WheelHub", "we", "us") builds and runs online storefronts for wheel and tyre shops. This policy explains what personal information we collect through wheelhub.com.au, why we collect it, and how we handle it. We handle personal information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

What we collect

When you book a meeting or contact us, we collect the details you provide in the form: your name, email address, mobile number, your shop's trading name, suburb and state, an optional ABN, and anything you choose to tell us about your shop.

Like most websites, our hosting providers also log basic technical information such as IP addresses, browser type and the pages you visit. We use this to keep the site running and secure, not to identify you.

How we use it

We use the information you give us to:

  • respond to your enquiry and schedule the meeting you asked for;
  • prepare for that meeting, including looking at the suppliers and setup you describe;
  • send you a quote if you request one; and
  • keep a record of our conversations with you.

We do not sell your information, and we do not add you to a mailing list unless you ask us to.

Who we share it with

We share personal information only with the service providers we use to run our business, such as email, scheduling and hosting providers, and only so they can provide those services to us. Some of these providers may store data outside Australia. We do not otherwise disclose your information unless we are required to by law.

How we store and protect it

Your information is stored in access-controlled systems available only to the people at WheelHub who need it. We keep it for as long as we need it to work with you, and delete it when it is no longer required.

Your choices

You can ask us at any time to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you. Email us and we will action it promptly. If you have a complaint about how we have handled your information, contact us first; if you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).

Cookies and analytics

Our site works without tracking cookies. If we introduce analytics in future, we will use privacy-respecting tools and update this policy.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update this page and the date at the top. Significant changes will be flagged on the site.
